Elder Couple in Headphones robbed while watching T.V.

Criminals, are by nature, not very concerned with morality. But robbing an elderly couple as they watched TV together while wearing headphones? That's just heartless. Tom and Peggy McElvoy were at their Mansfield, Texas, home Monday night watching an episode of "JAG." The couple wore headphones — both are hard of hearing and they can control the TV volume through their headsets. Unfortunately, an opportunistic burglar broke a glass patio door 20 feet from where the couple sat and ransacked their bedroom, stealing $20,000 worth of jewelry, cash and credit cards. The couple were unaware of the robbery until they went to their room to go to bed.
